Maybe you’ve never take a photo of yourself with your digital camera or your smartphone – maybe you never heard the phrase ‘ #selfie ‘ – but one thing for sure, you will get a memorable experience at Galaxy FBO!
The holiday season is officially upon us and that means it’s time to find the perfect gift for the AvGeek in your life. Pilots and aviation enthusiasts are all alike in the fact that they are difficult to buy for. With their very particular and expensive tastes, finding a gift they really want isn’t always easy.
Lone Star Executive Airport (KCXO) Runway 14/32 has now re-opened, enabling takeoff distances of 7,500 ft. The lengthened runway distances significantly increase the functionality of the airport, allowing a greater margin of safety for corporate aircraft visiting the area.
The 19th Annual Children’s Festival took place at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on November 8th and 9th this year, attracting over 10,000 kids & families.
Presented by ExxonMobil, the focus of the Children’s Festival is on the performing and visual arts for children, not only to amuse them but also provide inspiration to help young children broaden their horizons, tap into their talents and ignite their creativity. At the Galaxy FBO Fly Zone kids built their own kites and see it take flight and also participated in parachute races.
Galaxy FBO recently hosted the Cirrus Aircraft Pilot Proficiency Program (CPPP) between October 31st and November 2nd at the Lone Star Executive Airport.
The CPPP is organized by the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) as a recurrent training with Cirrus-specific flight and ground instruction. Many members choose to make the CPPP a key part of their annual or biannual training as they are able to socialize with like-minded pilots and Cirrus owners.
