Support the B-17 Texas Raiders
The US built 12,731 B-17s, and today only five are actively flying. The Commemorative Air Force’s B-17, Texas Raiders was the first B-17 acquired solely for the purpose of education and use as a flying museum. This September, Texas Raiders suffered performance issues with an engine while in transit, the flight crew safely landed the aircraft. The failed engine overhaul is estimated to cost CAF $50,000, therefore CAF is asking for donations! With your $1,000 or more donation, you’d receive a Supporter Patch, a Challenge Coin, a Texas Raiders crew cap and a certificate for a flight in the Gulf Coast Wing SNJ advanced trainer – not only a great cause, but a great gift idea as well!
