You may have noticed this unique photo on display at the Galaxy FBO hallway leading up to our reception area. The famous photo showcases a B-52 post-mission flyover. The HL-10 experimental aircraft features aerospace pioneer William H. Dana, an aeronautical engineer, test pilot and an astronaut, watching the flyover take place.
The Concours d’Elegance of Texas and the Houston Classic Motorcar Weekend began today with the annual Tour d’Elegance; a scenic guided tour of the Montgomery County. (more…)
While your young ones are enjoying an Easter Egg Hunt this Easter Sunday, a more surprising moment for them (or for any aviation enthusiast) would be to find a Kinder Surprise Chocolate Egg with the world’s largest airliner inside!
Ferrero Kinder Surprise is a 40-year-old tradition that has delighted millions of children with a revolutionary idea, by combining a chocolate egg, and a surprise toy. A Kinder Surprise Egg is a hollow chocolate egg around the same size as a normal hen’s egg, made from a thin layer of milk chocolate and a thin layer of white chocolate that is held inside a colorful plastic capsule containing a small toy.
The two and a half hour flight on 9 April 1967 from Boeing Field (KBFI) in Seattle to Paine Field (KPAE) in Everett, Washington marks the maiden flight of the first ever Boeing 737. (more…)
Black Walnut Café Conroe is now featuring local artist Liz Hill’s unique artwork titled “Aeronautical Rodeo”.
The mixed media artwork features an original blue print of a F-14 Tomcat fighter jet. The Black Walnut Café Conroe is located on the third floor of the Galaxy FBO, hence the “Aeronautical Rodeo” theme is quite a good match for its dining room! The Black Walnut Café Conroe is open to the public for breakfast and lunch everyday from 7am to 3pm.
