Galaxy FBO Hosted the 2014 Lamborghini Festival

Galaxy FBO was honored to host the official unveiling of the new Lamborghini ‘Huracan’ as a part of the Lamborghini Festival 2014.

This was the beginning of a three-day spectacle in Houston, which Lamborghini Festival promotes as “The biggest and most spectacular Lamborghini event put together on a world-wide level”. Proceeds from the event benefited two particularly worthy causes during September National Child Cancer Month; ‘Bennett Bears’ and ‘The Ballard House

With over 300 guests, the evening was filled with live music, a fashion show and the unveiling of the long awaited 2015 Lamborghini ‘Huracan’. We were honored to host special guests that share a passion for speed; former Lamborghini chief test driver Valentino Balboni and three time land speed record holder Leslie Porterfield.

“Ever since I became interested in flying, I had my mind set on the airlines. I always imagined that if you wanted to be in aviation, that was the only path to go on. My home flight simulator was always in use, loaded with Boeing 747s, Airbus A380s, and the like. Recently, however, my view of aviation and its career opportunities expanded exponentially. The main contributor to this was discovering the world of general and corporate aviation.

Announcing The Woodlands Heliport

Galaxy FBO now has a second location serving the air traffic in North Houston and the Montgomery County, Texas.

The FAA-approved heliport features a 80 feet by 80 feet concrete pad and hangar space for helicopter storage. The facility is located close proximity to The Woodlands Town Center in Oak Ridge North.

FIFA World Cup Football Field vs Galaxy FBO Hangar

2014 FIFA World Cup is about to be over, with the final game coming up this Sunday.

You are probably wondering who will take home the gold trophy. One thing is for sure; it’s going to be a very difficult game, with lots of ‘running’ around!

The minimum regulation field is about 1.59 acres of surface area per FIFA rulings, the fields for international matches must be between 110 yards long by 70 yards wide and 120 yards long by 80 yards wide.
