Houston Pinch Hitter hosted a Pilot Companion Course on April 4th in the Galaxy FBO conference room. The objective of this course was to introduce a non-flying member of the family to flying an airplane. There were 20 attendees in the course and 4 students are now pursuing their full private certificates. Five aircraft were on the ramp for the attendees to learn about: 2 Piper Archers, a Grumman Cheetah, a Mooney, and a Cessna 172. This program is essential when it comes to being a competent Co-pilot and all left feeling well versed to fly in an emergency. Black Walnut Cafe catered the event and all guests had a chance to enjoy the facilities and the information they gained will be essential for their future flights.
